The position
As a (Medior) Assistant Controller within the Finance Reporting and Analysis Team, you are the finance business partner between Finance and the rest of the Numidia organization. You are responsible for correct reporting and are able to drive its improvement and translate these numbers to the rest of the organization effectively.
Your core tasks are both in Treasury Control and Reporting and in Financial Control and Reporting. It entails a broad set of Financial responsibilities in a commercial environment. Numidia is an organization that is fast paced and relies on timely and accurate high-quality data. They expect you to contribute to their companies’ goals by already understanding the basics of financial reporting and being up to the challenge of taking the next step with respect to reporting and communicating across departments. The insights derived from your input and improved reporting streams will be translated into clear, actionable visualizations, directly supporting trading as well as executive decision-making.
Tasks and responsibilities
A broad range of finance tasks that include:
- Financial Control & Treasury Control
- Administer and reconcile the F&O position in the Numidia ERP and CTRM systems
- Responsible for bank postings and financial derivatives settlements
- Participate in month end closing and year-end financial audit processes
- External stakeholder filings f.i.: VAT, CBS, reporting to banks
- Co-drives initiatives to improve working capital
- Business Intelligence, reporting and automation
- Ensure correct reporting and monitoring of the trade position s and value at risk
- Create and maintain various reports in PowerBI.
- Automate processes with Python, RPA and other tools.

What you bring:
- Has BSc/ MSC degree; in finance, accounting or business management;
- Has a minimum of 2 years relevant experience;
- Excellent Analytical and communicative skills;
- Possesses the following competences: Teamwork, Effective Communication, Management and Responsibility, Leadership, Focused and Initiative, Customer focus, Relationship building, Analytical, Financial Awareness;
- Strong knowledge of related software and tools. Advanced knowledge of Python is required, along with affinity for MS Excel, and the Power Platform (especially Power BI, Power Automate. Training on specific in-house tools is possible;
- Is fluent in English, Dutch is a pre.
